I'm really into paper cutoouting♪

Hi there,
How's going?

Since this September, I've had new students.わーい(嬉しい顔)
In fact they are lower graders of elementary school.
And they are twins.  And moreover, they cannot stay calm at classes.がく〜(落胆した顔)

Of course they are cute and good kids. But it's a different matter if they are cute when I have to teach them.
For the first 2 or 3 lessons, it was a disasterふらふら

So I changed my style of lessonsexclamation×2 I stopped scolding, reading textbooks, and controlling themexclamation
The kids smile everytime when they come to my lesson. They might enjoy my classes.

At the class of last week, we all enjoyed folding paper(Origami in Japanese).
Actually I'm not good at folding paper, but they wanted me to make some animals, such as a giraffe, an elephant, and a panda.

So I tried very hard(わーい(嬉しい顔) Laugh!)
When I made them and asked them, "What's this?" , they answered "giraffe! " or "elephant!".
And to my surprise, they made a small zoo world on the wallexclamation×2

That's it!!

I was so moved with their imaginationひらめき
So I will practice folding paper and making paper cutout(so called Kirigami :切り紙) so that I will be able to catch their interests ハートたち(複数ハート)

For next lesson, I have to make some paper fish to teach them names of fish or sea lives.

What is important is that children enjoy learning English in my class.
I was taught by them.
